Do you offer a vegan or gluten free option?
We do not. However, if you are in Portland, Oregon check out Burgerville’s dessert menu. We partner with them to make a delicious, gluten-free/dairy free ice cream sandwich.
Do you offer catering?
We do not offer catering.
What allergens are in your facility?
Our facility manufacturers products with milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, soy, and tree nuts (coconut).
Where are your products made?
Our Ice Cream Sandwiches are produced in Sandwich City in Portland, Oregon.
Do you use pasteurized milk?
Yes. The milk, cream and eggs used in our ice cream are pasteurized.
What does it mean when a product is rBST Free?
Recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST) is a synthetic version of the bovine growth hormone given to dairy cattle by injection to increase milk production.
According to the FDA, no significant difference has been shown between milk derived from cows treated with artificial growth hormones and those not treated with artificial growth hormones. Here at Ruby Jewel we like to keep things clean and simple and have chosen to actively source ingredients that are as natural as possible. Which means all our dairy is rBST-Free.
